I attended Rhodes College and majored in English where the love of reading instilled in me during my years at St. Mary’s Episcopal School found its fulfillment. I returned to St. Mary’s to teach for two years before I moved to Alexandria, Virginia for seminary. When I came back to Memphis and was ordained as an Episcopal priest, I served at St. Mary’s Episcopal Cathedral.
I then moved back to Memphis and worked as an Associate Priest at Church of the Holy Communion for five years. When the opportunity arose for me to return to St. Mary’s as chaplain, I knew that this would be best place for me to use my gifts caring for community and teaching. Working there allows me to give back to a community that helped to form me to be the person I am today … priest, teacher, reader, mother, counselor, wife, daughter, sister, friend.
