The Reverend Sandy Webb came to serve at Church of the Holy Communion in July 2013. In his capacity as Rector, Sandy is the lead pastor, preacher, and teacher for this large and vibrant congregation. He also oversees its very able staff and is accountable to the vestry for administration of the budget. Immediately before coming to Holy Communion, Sandy served as Associate to the Rector at St. John's Episcopal Church in Roanoke, Virginia. As an extension of his work at St. John's, Sandy served as Chaplain to the Roanoke City Fire-EMS Department (a program that he founded), and as a community representative on the Institutional Review Board at Carillion Clinic and Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
